In a word, superlative. From the moment you walk in the door you are in immersed in all things tea. The decor brings you to another place in time. It is both calming, and charming. Once your seated at a table the real magic begins. Brad delivers top notch service, and the tea and food is heavenly. Hands down best scone I've ever encountered. And, it was warm. This was the first time I tried clotted cream, and now have two jars in my refrigerator. The sandwiches, the desserts, every little thing was fabulous. The tea menu is lengthy, and varied. Tea is presented hot, and cozied. Fancy That deserved a hundred stars, but this platform doesn't allow for that. We loved it, you will as well.

They were very accommodating as my sister has a nut allergy. The atmosphere was very nice.

We were early for our seating and still greeted with a smile and seated right away. Service was wonderful, my second time, loved it as much as the first time. The tea selection is amazing. The food prepared is fresh, scones served warm, mouth watering. We were able to have a wonderful conversation with the owners. They even gathered the retail items we inquired about purchasing. We went for afternoon tea and it was fantastic! Definitely worth it. Super tasty finger foods (a scone, tea bread, 4 finger sandwiches, a mini cupcake, macaroon, and mouse cup per person), and about 7 cups of tea. We stayed for about 2 and a half hours. Super chill classical music, a room all to yourself, and tasty tea. Couldn't have been better!

Great timeHigh quality scones, nice desserts, sandwiches very skimpy fill and would liked to have 2 chicken salad instead of 2 cucumber, 3rd sandwich was bologna and American cheese. Would have been nice to have a cheddar or stitlon with roast beef or ham instead of bologna...the wife's favorite sandwich, liked the touch of relish which took the curse off the bologna sandwich!Teas were terrific, setting, tea room and attention to the details was excellent, inviting and worth the $27.00 high tea luncheon price. The menu also offers cream teas and bubbly. Clean, charming, inviting surroundings❣

I went here with some family members for the afternoon tea, and we all had a fabulous time! The food was great (and I loved that they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions), the service was fantastic, and the space was so cute and perfect.

Very disappointed that I could not bring my granddaughters because of the age limit. I was so excited when I saw that they had such great reviews and also had gluten free options. My granddaughters are very well behaved. 😢

There were 4 in our party for tea today and I really wish that one of us remembered to take a picture of the 3 tier tray of delicious sammies,scones, lemon zest bread,macaroons and strawberry shortcake. We all enjoyed our treats and I would definitely get the strawberry kiwi tea again because it was delicious. Thank you to Sarah's tea guy Brad we always feel welcomed as he greets you with a smile and he even put a birthday candle in my scone because this was my what has become my birthday tea for the past few years. Today was my first time having tea in the "pink room " and it was decked out in beautiful pink decorations. From the window tops and sills lined with smaller teapots to the chandelier with a couple of heart ornaments hanging on it this was just perfect. Looking forward to going in March for my son's birthday. ❤

Fancy That is a quaint tea room. The atmosphere is exquisite, the food divine and the tea selection is amazing. One of my favorite places.

The ambiance is that of a quaint, upscale version of a charming English cottage. For that alone, it’s worth checking out. But, what really blew me away was the afternoon tea service — a wide selection of teas, set to perfection with accompanying sandwiches, scone, and dessert — all incredibly delicious; to the last bite. And yes, they serve real clotted cream, unlike some of the pretentious afternoon tea venues in Boston. I’ve had afternoon tea in some of the fancy places in London (such as the Lanesborough), and Fancy That is as good, without the hefty bill. I am so incredibly happy to have found a truly wonderful place for afternoon tea in New England. I am definitely going back.

Wonderful tea shop! Run by a super charming couple. Their passion is tea and it shows in the finest details all over the place! If you have an opportunity to have tea here...DO NOT PASS IT UP!

We went there for high tea with friends. It has very cute decorations and we had private room to ourselves. it has huge selections of tea and it could be overwhelming but I enjoyed the Irish morning. It came scone, tea bread, fingers sandwiches and deserts. The staffs were wonderful. Overall I enjoyed it.

I've been 5 times to England and this is the closest you'll ever come to high tea on this side of the pond! Every review you will read, every photograph posted, express how absolutely fabulous a tea room it is and they are spot on.From the moment you make your reservation online, to the Host Brad, you walk in to a place like you've never seen - so beautiful. Each room has it's own personality, beautiful bone china, gorgeous fabrics and lace, so ultra feminine of a time gone by.With a lovely printed menu of SO many teas to choose from and fabulously prepared scones, clotted cream and jam, finger sandwiches and treats.I brought my MIL here for a surprise birthday celebration and she loved it. Have another reservation to bring a GF for her birthday...so I'm looking forward to going again! Go, step back in time and relax. You'll definitely want to go again.

A lovely place for afternoon tea! Wide range of selection for tea (even pink hot chocolate for the tea averse) and delicious scones in a variety of flavors (raspberry, lavender, etc). The rooms are colorful and decorated wall-to-wall with vintage items.

I went with my granddaughter and it was amazing the decor, the service, and the food was excellent I highly recommended it.

Perfect for my birthday celebration, they even put a candle in my scone!! I'm vegetarian and my friend is vegan and they accommodated us easily. The tea was amazing there are so many choices it was almost hard to pick! We sat by the front window which was wonderful because it was so bright but they do have private rooms if you want that.

I felt sad it was over when I left..That's how good it is..The tower of food and dessert left Loretta and I completely satisfied..On the top were Lemon cake and Scones..Middle row was Finger sandwiches included Cucumber, Chicken salad and Corn beef..All were very good..Bottom row had macaroons and Tiramisu..Mini servings of Clotted Cream and Strawberry jam add to the greatness of this Culinary Adventure..Fancy That also offers Tea's,Jams and Clotted Cream for sale for you to take home and continue your adventure..Ladies and Gentleman this is absolutely a must try experience if you haven't been already..👍👍👍👍👍

Adorable place, Wonderful staff and delicious food

I went to an open house, and tried some tea and scones, and oh my, were they good! I knew I had to go back for tea time. Just recently I had afternoon tea with my mother and grandmother. We had our own little room, and everything was so nice. The decorations are magical, the tea selection was outstanding, and the food was delicious. The variety of sandwiches and treats offered was just perfect. We had tea for about 2 hours, and the service was excellent. This is such a wonderful little shoppe! Anyone who enjoys tea and wants a quiet, intimate afternoon with friends should check this place out!

One of the cutest places I've ever been. Service is always up to par. Five star all the way, very extensive list of Teas. Comes with homemade tea sandwiches, scones and breads, and a variety of desserts. Often a macaroon, some form of pudding, and cupcake. Would highly recommend for a great night out. Been there three times already, and hoping for many many more.

Fancy That is absolutely delightful. If you like lace and tea sets, pink chandeliers, you will love this place. The tea sandwiches are delicious and displayed well. The scones were a hit. Desserts were very tasty. And of course you had so many tea choices it was almost impossible to choose. You had your own teapot also. Will definitely return again.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday there and it was perfection! I needed to up my original reservation from 5 to 8 and they were able to quickly accommodate the change. :) I brought with me 7 other ladies that had never been to an afternoon tea before and now they ALL want to go back and do it again. It was such a great day and a great experience and we will see you again soon for another party! :)

Friends treated me to an afternoon tea here on a rainy Tuesday as a birthday gift. The tea was delicious. The setting was charming, roomy, and clean (Always a good thing). The food was scrumptious and the service was kind, considerate, and timely. I would happily return and try the delicious looking pink hot chocolate. Fancy That is definitely worth a visit!
